At least four people were killed and 20 injured in several accidents on the Bangabandhu Bridge due to dense fog, leading to snapping vehicular movement on the bridge on Saturday.
Bangabandhu Bridge police station (east) officer-in-charge Akhiruzzaman said a bus rammed a truck from behind, leaving four killed and 12 injured around 6:30am.
Traffic stopped on the bridge as both the vehicles fell on their sides disrupting vehicular movement.
Some other people were injured as vehicles hit each others in the chaotic situation in the area.
